Project Description

Flourishing from the Faded
Sunshine Coast
We wanted to bring light to a space, which is normally in darkness, revealing the character and history within that space. With rich colours, decay and a touch of decadence, the floral elements form one of the main features of the shoot. Growing out of the man made and forgotten concrete and dirt space, we wanted the installation to feel like we are re-invigorating the space with warmth and nature. Charlotte our model offers an ethereal and edgy element to the shoot, fitting with the setting.
As regular collaborators, heavenly blooms and myself have found a perfect creative match in that we both have the same aesthetics and ethics. We enjoy taking risks and experimentation, this location offered huge logistical constraints but we were willing to push ourselves in order to create something unique. With a strong focus on nature we both find ourselves on the quirkier side of the industry, a place we are happy to reside.
