Project Description

Jess & Peter

XO

I know we are not supposed to have favourites but this was one of mine for the wedding season of 2018! Jess and Peter were so lovely to work with, they pretty much let me loose on the florals and the concept came together a treat! I love working on private property weddings in the Noosa Hinterland as it’s a whole new landscape – this one wasn’t without its challenges though!

It poured rain for 3 days before and on their wedding … When I got to Jess she was so calm. They completely embraced the weather, added a tipi and just partied into the night under the tipis! The mud was all around but the atmosphere cancelled out all the weather negatives. I decided to use a soft palette of mixed florals dried and fresh to create a unique bridal bouquet with tones of mustard to bring in the farm feel.

A loose style bouquet with a hint of tropical using Phal Orchids just played alongside the textural dried and native flowers perfectly. Lots of foliages were used in the hanging installation and loose blooms adorned the tipis and wagon wheels.
